The Data Quality Specialist - Energy Accounts will be responsible for delivering and improving energy data management processes in relation to historical consumption data and e-invoice collection, data analysis and reconciliation with internal & external parties, financial data analysis including performing checks on historical data and invoices on the finance system, reconciliation with internal & external parties. They will be involved in the improvement and development of tools and systems in a growing international company.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepare and communicate energy spend reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure data completeness and data integrity in our systems, and whenever required, assist in the manual and automated entry of customer utility data.
  • Perform data management related work that includes but not limited to: cost and consumption reporting, World Kinect Online, AP File Services, etc.
  • Identify and resolve data and invoice related queries/issues with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare internal quality check reports and collaborate closely with other departments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the liaison between World Kinect Energy Services Australia and other support offices (i.e. Budapest office) in relation to: training, deliverables, systems, etc.
  • Devise, develop and implement improvements to tools and processes related to energy data management.
PERSON SPECIFICATION (BACKGROUND AND SKILLS):
  • Strong analytical skills and numerate ability is essential.
  • Analytical work experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
  • A degree qualification is desirable, preferably in an analytical field that involved analysing numerical data.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and accurately is essential.
  • Strong teamwork skills are essential but also the ability to work independently on project work.
  • The ability and willingness to carry out repetitive tasks quickly and accurately is essential.
  • Creative and innovative thinking are a must.
  • Programming skills in Python, R and/or SQL are highly desirable.
